Kristine has been a dedicated member of United Way of Greater New Bedford for the past three years, serving as the Development Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Westfield State College and brings both strategic insight and heartfelt commitment to her role. In her position, Kristine oversees United Way’s fundraising campaigns, helping secure the resources that fuel community impact, and she assists with grant distribution, ensuring funds are allocated responsibly and effectively to organizations meeting critical local needs.

Kristine is inspired every day by the way the UWGNB team comes together to help so many people across the community. She feels immense gratitude for the generosity of community members whose support allows the organization to provide assistance in meaningful and impactful ways.

Beyond her role at United Way, Kristine serves as a Trustee of the New Bedford Free Public Library, supporting community access, literacy, and educational enrichment. She also volunteers in the Walk for MS, contributing to awareness and fundraising efforts for multiple sclerosis research.

A fun fact about Kristine: she once appeared in a Cardi’s Furniture commercial as a customer walking into the store.

Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Kristine is an avid reader and book club member, and a daily "Wordler." She is also a happy dog mom to Sandy, her beloved 14-year-old dog and the first dog she has ever had the joy of spoiling.

Her favorite quote is:
“When they go low, we go high” Michelle Obama
